- Biography

Katie Pate, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant with experience across orthopedic surgery, total joint arthroplasty, fracture and trauma care, sports medicine and postoperative rehabilitation. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Bethel University in Paris, Tennessee. She completed her physical therapist assistant degree from Spokane Falls Community College in Spokane, Washington and her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Movement Science from the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. Before joining AdventHealth, she cared for patients at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, Florida and at Lexington Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in West Columbia, South Carolina. She has volunteered with medical missions, adaptive scuba programs and athletic event support teams. Katie is dedicated to providing whole-person care to each patient, considering body, mind and spirit.
