Karina Francis, APRN, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. Karina served as a registered nurse at AdventHealth Apopka and Encompass in Altamonte Springs, where she provided comprehensive patient assessment, medication administration and care coordination. She also worked as an Epic credentialed trainer for AdventHealth, supporting staff education and workflow optimization. Karina has volunteered on medical missions in Guatemala and at Camp Boggy Creek, assisting children who are cancer survivors.
