Karen Przystup, NP, S

Karen Przystup, APRN, joined AdventHealth Medical Group from the UF Health Cancer Center in Orlando. Prior to her tenure there, she served as an advanced nursing professional at MD Anderson Cancer Center and at multiple highly esteemed medical practices in Gainesville and Ocoee, FL. Her primary areas of clinical focus have included medical oncology (particularly gastrointestinal malignancies, myeloma and benign hematology) as well as intensive care and general adult health. A seasoned professional with 20 years of experience caring for cancer patients, she is a proud graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology as well as her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Nursing. She is an active member of the Florida Nurses Association and Oncology Nursing Society and regularly contributes to her community through volunteer efforts with local charities such as United Way, Shepherd’s Hope medical clinic and the Boy Scouts of America.
