Kalyan R. Chitturi, DO

Dr. Kalyan Chitturi is a board-certified interventional cardiologist at Southshore Cardiovascular Associates dedicated to advanced, patient-centered care. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He completed his internal medicine residency at Houston Methodist, followed by a cardiology fellowship at Georgetown University/MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Chitturi specializes in complex coronary, structural heart, and endovascular interventions. His procedural expertise includes percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), intravascular imaging and physiology, including coronary microvascular function testing, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), ASD/PFO closure, and CardioMEMS implantation. He is also trained in mechanical circulatory support and peripheral endovascular interventions. He holds board certifications in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, echocardiography, and cardiovascular computed tomography (CT).
