Julien Dagenais, MD

Julien Dagenais, MD, is a fellowship-trained urologic oncologist specializing in minimally invasive robotic surgery. He has performed more than 1,000 robotic procedures and uses advanced techniques designed to reduce pain, shorten recovery time and help patients return to their lives sooner. After training with internationally recognized leaders in robotic surgery at the Harvard Urology Program and Cleveland Clinic’s Glickman Urological Institute, Dr. Dagenais developed advanced expertise in the treatment of bladder, kidney, prostate, and testicular cancers, as well as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and ureteral stricture disease. For patients with Nutcracker syndrome, he collaborates with the AdventHealth Transplant Institute to provide an innovative surgical treatment option. In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Dagenais is dedicated to advancing the field of urology. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and serves as a clinical instructor, helping train surgeons in advanced robotic techniques. A urologic cancer diagnosis or complex urologic condition can be overwhelming. Dr. Dagenais is committed to providing expert care with compassion, clear communication and a personalized approach so patients can make informed decisions throughout treatment.

Dr. Dagenais rejuvenates with time outdoors and skiing. He prioritizes time with his family and enjoys cooking for them. Dr. Dagenais loves being around his patients, but he loves getting out and doing some traveling too.
