Julie Philip, DNP, AG-ACNP-BC

Julie Philip, DNP, AG-ACNP-BC, is a board-certified adult gerontology-acute care nurse practitioner with more than a decade of clinical experience across hospitalist, critical care and cardiology specialties. She has served in rapid response and critical care roles at Rehoboth Surgery Hospital–Beebe Healthcare in Rehoboth Beach, DE; and at TidalHealth facilities on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. In addition to hospitalist roles with Adfinitas Health within the University of Maryland Health system. Dr. Philip earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice, Wilmington University, Wilmington, DE and completed her Master of Science in Nursing, Adult Gerontology-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Duke University, Durham, North Carolina. In addition to her clinical practice, she is actively involved in educating future providers through her work teaching in a Nurse Practitioner program where she is dedicated to developing in the next generation of advanced practice clinicians. In her current role Julie provides perioperative, inpatient and outpatient cardiology care including rapid response evaluation and acute care management. Julie is committed to delivering comprehensive, whole-person care that supports the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of every patient.

I believe in caring for patients as people first, not diagnosis, by listening closely and partnering with them in their care. My goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based treatment that supports both health and quality of life.
