Joshua A. Perkel, MD

Dr. Joshua Perkel is a board-certified urologist with nearly two decades of clinical and leadership experience. He currently practices with Urology Specialists of Georgia, where he previously served as President. Dr. Perkel has held numerous leadership roles within the Georgia Urological Association, including President, Secretary/Treasurer, and Delegate to the Southeastern Section of the American Urological Association. An active contributor to medical education, Dr. Perkel served as Chief of the Division of Urology and Assistant Clinical Professor in the Departments of Surgery and Obstetrics & Gynecology at Mercer University School of Medicine. A graduate of Brown University and the Medical University of South Carolina, he completed his residency and chief residency in urology at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Perkel is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology, maintaining active certification since 2007.
