Joseph Derbyshire, DO

Board-certified ENT and facial plastic surgeon Joseph Derbyshire, DO, uses his considerable expertise to benefit patients at Vitale Ear, Nose & Throat's offices in Wesley Chapel and Zephyrhills, Florida.Dr. Derbyshire studied at the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida, where he double-majored in chemistry and English. He went on to earn a master's degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark.Dr. Derbyshire graduated from medical school in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 2016. He completed his otolaryngology (ENT) and facial plastic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center-Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania, where he was voted chief resident in his final year.Dr. Derbyshire was involved in many research projects throughout his training. He had a paper published in the ENT Ear, Nose, & Throat Journal. Dr. Derbyshire stays current with advances in ENT medicine and surgical techniques to benefit his patients with the most effective, safest treatments. He enjoys being in community-based medicine and providing the best possible care to his patients.

Dr. Derbyshire enjoys being with his son in his free time. He's an avid "Jeopardy" fan and Sunday New York Times crossword enthusiast. He loves outdoor activities, including running, hiking, and golfing.
