John J. Dombrowski, MD, PhD, DABR, is a board-certified radiation oncologist with over 19 years of clinical experience. After earning his medical degree from University of Illinois in Chicago, he completed radiation oncology residency training at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. He also holds a Doctor of Philosophy in chemical engineering with a biomedical emphasis from Rice University in Houston, Texas. Before joining AdventHealth, Dr. Dombrowski served as an academic associate professor at Saint Louis University, chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Saint Louis University Hospital, and director of Radiation Oncology Services at St. Mary’s Hospital/SSMHealth SLUCare in St. Louis, Missouri. He has contributed and authored many peer-reviewed publications, and continues active involvement in clinical research, teaching, and multidisciplinary care.
