Biography

Dr. Stone has received a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery. He completed his fellowship training in Hand, Upper Extremity, and Microvascular Surgery. Dr. Stone remains a faculty member of the Florida Orthopaedic Institute Hand Fellowship Program and a Principal Investigator at the Foundation for Orthopaedic Research and Education.


Dr. Stone is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the Tampa Bay Hand Club, and the University of Florida Hand Fellows Alumni Club.

As an Affiliate Assistant Professor and Fellowship Training Program Instructor at the University of South Florida, Dr. Stone shares his professional knowledge and expertise in training hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery students. He has authored numerous articles and lectured at national meetings on various upper extremity disorders.


Dr. Stone offers Targeted Muscle Reinnervation (TMR) which offers pain relief for patients with amputation.


Personal Interests

In his free time, Dr. Stone enjoys skiing, sailing, boating, and coaching youth sports. He likes to spend time traveling with his family.
