Jawad Francis, MD

Jawad Francis, MD, is a board-certified hematologist oncologist. After earning his medical degree from the University of Balamand in Lebanon, Dr. Francis completed a residency in internal medicine at University at Buffalo where he served as Chief Resident. He completed medical oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Francis was Medical Director of the Medical Oncology program and Chair of Clinical research at Mercy Health Youngstown, Ohio. A highly experienced clinician, Dr. Francis holds certifications in internal medicine and medical oncology. He specializes in the treatment of a wide array of cancer conditions including prostate, liver, ovaries, skin, bladder, kidney, breast, esophageal, gastric, lungs, head and neck, and hepatobiliary cancers. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic. Dr. Francis believes cancer care is a mission and has to be delivered with knowledge and compassion.
