Iris Lim-Beutel, MD

Irene Isabel P. Lim-Beutel, MD is a board certified pediatric surgeon with extensive experience. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from New York University School of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at New York University Langone Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. Dr. LimBeutel went on to complete both a pediatric colorectal surgery fellowship and a pediatric surgery fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She also earned a Master of Public Health with a concentration in global health from the University of Cincinnati. Prior to joining AdventHealth, she served as assistant professor of surgery and held leadership roles in pediatric colorectal and inflammatory bowel disease programs.

Dr. Iris Lim-Beutel completed fellowships in both pediatric general surgery and pediatric colorectal surgery at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. She is particularly interested in long-term functional outcomes for patients with Hirschsprung's disease, anorectal malformation, and chronic idiopathic constipation. Additionally, she enjoys caring for children and young adults living with inflammatory bowel disease, and improving quality of life for her patients. Her research focuses on quality of life for children living with congenital anomalies.
