Gustavo Bello, MD, FACS, is a nationally recognized bariatric surgeon who joined AdventHealth from the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Maryland. After building one of their area’s busiest bariatric surgery programs with an average of 1,200 cases per year, this highly regarded physician brings his expertise to Central Florida. Dr. Bello is a native Venezuelan who earned his medical degree at the respected Universidad Central de Venezuela. He completed his surgical residency at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident, and continued at Penn State for his clinical fellowship in advanced minimally invasive and bariatric surgery.
Today, as always, making patients feel comfortable, heard, informed, reassured and part of the family is a top priority for Dr. Bello and his team.
