Biography

Giselle Hernandez, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician who earned her medical degree from Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo, (INTEC School of Medicine) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She also completed a residency in pediatric medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark, NJ.

Dr. Hernandez was a neonatal house physician and assistant professor in the neonatal intensive care unit and newborn nursery at Columbia University at Harlem Hospital Center in New York City. She has a special interest in nutrition and lifestyle modifiable factors that keep the mind and body healthy. Dr. Hernandez is dedicated to providing whole-person care to her patients, treating body, mind and spirit.

Dr. Hernandez is fluent in both Spanish and English.
