Garrett Tibbets, DO, is a vascular surgeon dedicated to providing advanced, patient-centered care for adults with complex vascular conditions. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD), carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysms, chronic venous disease, dialysis access management, and limb salvage procedures. Dr. Tibbets is committed to helping patients improve their vascular health through innovative treatments, minimally invasive techniques, and personalized care plans. Dr. Tibbets earned his medical degree from Kansas City University before completing his general surgery residency at Stony Brook University Hospital Southampton in New York. He then pursued advanced specialty training through a vascular surgery fellowship with HCA Midwest Healthcare in Kansas City, where he gained extensive experience in complex endovascular and open vascular procedures. His clinical expertise includes peripheral angioplasty and stenting, arterial bypass surgery, carotid endarterectomy, carotid artery stenting, endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR), complex abdominal and thoracic aortic repairs, hemodialysis access creation and maintenance, treatment of varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency, genicular artery embolization for chronic knee pain, and anterior spine exposure surgery for complex spine procedures.
