Biography: G. Hunter Myers, MD, FACC, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with more than 30 years of experience caring for patients with cardiovascular disease. Dedicated to helping patients achieve better heart health, Dr. Myers combines extensive expertise with the latest advances in cardiology to provide personalized, high-quality care.
Dr. Myers earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. He completed his residency in internal medicine, serving as chief resident, and went on to complete a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
Personal Interests: Beyond his dedication to providing his patients with exceptional cardiac care, Dr. Myers leads an active lifestyle. He is a passionate runner and has completed marathons in all 50 states. He is an avid traveler, and his love for exploration has taken him to over a dozen countries. He looks forward to seeing as much of our planet as possible.
