Frances Phang, MD, FACS

Frances Phang, MD, FACS, is a board-certified breast surgeon with over 11 years of experience. Dr. Phang earned her medical degree from the University of Nebraska School of Medicine in Omaha, NE. She completed her internship and general surgery residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas, NV, where she also served as chief resident. Following residency graduation, Dr. Phang practiced as a general surgeon in Las Vegas and developed an interest in women's health and breast oncology. This led her to pursue a breast surgical oncology fellowship at the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY. Dr. Phang is a published author and has a special interest in breast conservation and benign breast conditions. Dr. Phang is actively involved in educational activities and professional organizations, including the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Surgeons and has presented her research at several national and regional conferences. She is also fluent in Mandarin.
