Donald Czerniach, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon with more than 20 years of experience in minimally invasive, bariatric and foregut surgery. He earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed a general surgery residency at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC, and a fellowship training program in minimally invasive surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA. Most recently, Dr. Czerniach served as the director of metabolic and bariatric surgery at Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford, MA. At UMass, he led minimally invasive surgery services and surgical simulation, contributed to peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and served as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
