Debra Lopez, AANP

Debra Lopez, NP, is a compassionate nurse practitioner dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals with digestive and liver conditions. She specializes in the management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), diverticular disease, GERD, gastritis and peptic ulcer disease, gallbladder disease, fatty liver disease and hepatitis. Debra earned her Associate Degree in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New Mexico State University before completing her Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University. Her advanced training and commitment to evidence-based practice allow her to develop thoughtful, individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.

Outside of caring for patients, Debra enjoys spending time with her family, kayaking, traveling and being outdoors with her dogs.

Debra believes effective care begins with a trusting patient-provider relationship built on open communication, empathy and mutual respect. Debra is passionate about supporting both symptom management and long-term digestive health through patient education, preventive care and ongoing guidance. She finds it deeply rewarding to help patients during vulnerable moments and to make a meaningful difference in their lives by delivering compassionate care that supports both their physical health and overall well-being.
