Debra Beachy, APRN, FNP-BC

Debra Beachy, APRN, FNP-BC, is an advanced practice registered nurse who provides primary care to patients ages 5 and up. She performs annual wellness exams, provides chronic disease management and delivers comprehensive men’s and women’s healthcare. Debra became a family nurse practitioner to make a direct and meaningful difference in her patients’ lives. She aims to provide compassionate, patient-centered care that treats the whole person in body, mind and spirit. By listening carefully, building trusting relationships and partnering with patients in their healthcare decisions, she helps individuals achieve their best possible health using evidence-based medicine and a personalized approach to care. Through trust, open communication, and meaningful relationships, she works with her patients to support not only their physical health but also their overall quality of life. Debra completed a post-graduate family nurse practitioner certification at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She also earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Case Western and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron. She is certified in Basic Life Support and is a member of the American Nurses Association, the Florida Nursing Association and Sigma Theta Tau, an honor society of nursing.

In her free time, Debra enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, exploring different cultures, volunteering at local charities, reading, swimming, relaxing at the beach, and attending musicals, operas, and movies. She is also learning to speak Spanish, Italian and French.

Debra is committed to whole-person care and believes that healthcare is most effective when there is a partnership between provider and patient. She strives to create an environment where patients feel heard, valued and empowered to participate in decisions about their care.
