Daniel E Rinewalt, MD, is a thoracic and cardiovascular surgeon. After graduating from Texas Tech University, Dr. Rinewalt received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston Medical School. He went on to complete a general surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center, as well as a cardiothoracic surgery residency and an advanced cardiac surgery fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Rinewalt has many years of clinical and surgical experience, with a focus on heart, lung transplant and ventricular assist device (VAD) procedures.
