Colin P. Bird, MD, FACS, is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon and general surgeon who brings extensive experience in surgical care, patient education and shared decision-making. Before joining AdventHealth, he practiced colon and rectal surgery and general surgery in Western North Carolina for more than 10 years. Dr. Bird provides expert care for conditions of the colon, rectum and anus, including hemorrhoids, diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease and colorectal cancers.
