Charles Thompson, MD, FACS

Charles S. Thompson, MD, FACS, is a board certified vascular surgeon with more than 20 years of experience. Dr. Thompson completed fellowships in vascular and endovascular surgery at Louisiana State University Medical Center and the Arizona Heart Institute and residency training in general surgery at Louisiana State University Medical Center. He has led Vascular Specialists of Central Florida since 2002, served in senior leadership roles, including as president and medical director, and holds a longstanding academic appointment at the University of Central Florida. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and is active in professional organizations, including the Society for Vascular Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. He specializes in endovascular surgery, general surgery, and vascular surgery.
