César A. Castillo-Alicea, MD

César A. Castillo-Alicea, MD, is a board-certified vascular and general surgeon who earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus in San Juan, PR, where he also completed his general surgery residency. He finished a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Connecticut, Hartford Hospital Program in Hartford, CT. Dr. Castillo-Alicea, was an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, and practiced vascular surgery at the Centro Cardiovascular de Puerto Rico y del Caribe, Hospital Pavia Arecibo, and the San Juan Veteran’s Administration Hospital. Dr. Castillo-Alicea, who is fluent in English and Spanish, has given numerous podium presentations in Puerto Rico.
