Biography

Cathy Brownell, CNM, APRN, is a board-certified nurse midwife who provides compassionate care for adolescents and adults. She chose midwifery because she is passionate about guiding patients through pregnancy and birth, ensuring they feel informed, respected, and empowered. Cathy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Spring Arbor University and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. Before becoming a midwife more than a decade ago, she spent 20 years caring for families as a labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery nurse.

Personal Interests

In her free time, Cathy enjoys spending time outdoors jet skiing, camping, or relaxing by the pool. She also loves woodworking, learning new skills, visiting Walt Disney World, and spending time with her partner and their three dogs.
