Biography: Dr. Catherine (Sue) Hwang is a board-certified radiation oncologist, the Section Leader of Breast Radiation Oncology at the AdventHealth Cancer Institute, and Associate Professor in Radiation Oncology at the UCF College of Medicine. Beyond her clinical expertise, she brings a unique perspective as a breast cancer survivor, a journey she shares in her published memoir titled, “From Both Sides of the Curtain”. She is a dedicated community advocate and speaker, reaching a global audience through her Instagram page @breast_cancer_360. She has been featured in People Magazine, the Huffington Post, and Business Insider and remains deeply committed to raising awareness about breast cancer, survivorship and women’s health.
Personal Interests: During her spare time, she can be found spending time with her three sons and two dogs. She is also an avid chef and enjoys hosting her friends and family.
