Bruno Machado, MD

Bruno Machado, MD, is a urologist with more than 20 years of experience. He earned his medical degree from Federal Fluminense University in Brazil and completed general surgery and urology residencies in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, followed by a fellowship in laparoscopic and robotic surgery in Bordeaux, France. Before joining AdventHealth, Dr. Machado held faculty and leadership roles at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences for nine years and practiced in Brazil at Pro-Uro and Hospital Federal de Ipanema. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, presented internationally, and received awards for excellence in patient care, research and education. Dr. Machado is a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English and proficient in French and Spanish.

For that reason, my clinical approach focuses not only on treating disease, but also on understanding the emotional, psychological, and quality-of-life challenges that often accompany these conditions. My goal is to help restore confidence, independence, dignity, and overall well-being for both patients and their loved ones.
