Bridget F. Koontz, MD FASTRO, is a board-certified radiation oncologist. She received her medical degree from Harvard University and her residency at Duke University. As faculty at Duke University for 14 years, Dr. Koontz achieved the rank of Associate Professor with tenure and served in multiple leadership roles, before transitioning to the role of U.S. Chief Medical Officer and Global Deputy Chief Medical Officer at GenesisCare. Dr. Koontz has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles in clinical and translational research in genitourinary malignancies, sexual health, and patient well-being. At AdventHealth, Dr. Koontz will continue her research and leadership career as Medical Director for Radiation Oncology. Her clinical focus will be caring for patients with prostate, kidney and bladder cancer.
