Biography

Amanda Hogue, APRN, FNP-BC, MSN, is an advanced practice registered nurse with extensive experience caring for patients with a wide variety of chronic medical conditions including diabetes and its associated comorbidities. She joined AdventHealth Medical Group’s celebrated diabetes and endocrinology team from a private family practice in Central Florida, where she cared for patients with acute and chronic conditions including metabolic syndromes. Prior to that time, Amanda was a full-time registered nurse at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville. She is a proud graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing degrees and was awarded the Vergie Pafford Award for Excellence in Community Health Nursing in 2010 and earned Preceptor of the Year honors in 2019.
