Amanda Burns, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with nearly a decade’s experience providing surgical care for women. Dr. Burns specializes in breast surgery and she encourages patients to be actively involved in their health care treatment. Dr. Burns utilizes the latest techniques and procedures to provide the highest level of care for her patients. She is skilled in minimally invasive and hidden scar surgical techniques, nipple sparing mastectomy and breast conservation therapy. In addition, Dr. Burns specializes in the treatment of benign breast disease and breast surgery, as well as the removal of skin lesions and cancers. She is actively involved in her community through service on several committees at AdventHealth Ocala and is honored to provide compassionate, personalized care to women across northern and central Florida.
