"Having childhood asthma I had to see doctors quite often, doctors who before my eyes were superheroes, they made me feel better and taught me how to identify, control, and treat my symptoms. I followed this career to provide the same level of care for my patients, and to become that "superhero" for the little ones and their parents. I want to be that bridge for Spanish-speaking patients who are learning to navigate this healthcare system.
