Aledyandra Crespo-Nieves, MD, FACOG

Aledyandra Crespo-Nieves, MD, born in beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico, arrived in Orlando as a teenager. Dr. Crespo-Nieves an alumna of The University of Central Florida, majored in Molecular biology and Microbiology. She earned her medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and completed her residency at Saint Luke’s Episcopal hospital in Ponce, Puerto Rico. During her residency she was able to provide superior care to a diverse patient population of low and high-risk pregnancies and obtained her certification in Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery.

Dr. Crespo-Nieves earned the esteemed position of administrative Chief Resident at the prestigious St. Luke’s Hospital as she finished her time in Puerto Rico. Dr. Crespo Nieves’ focused interests are minimal invasive surgery, adolescent education, preventive medicine, and family planning. Her professional passions include building positive patient relationships and working with women to help them as they establish their healthcare goals and to meet their needs. She finds fulfillment in every aspect of guiding a mother and child to term, but is still most endeared by that first remarkable moment when she can help a mother bond with her child for the very first time.

Outside of patient care, Dr. Crespo- Nieves prioritizes time spent with her young son and husband. Salsa dancing is how they exercise off the calories from being “foodies” and finding new travel destinations nurtures their longing for adventure. Still, movie night with the family is forever a joy.
