Aaron Hisel, APRN

Aaron Hisel, APRN, is an advanced practice registered nurse who cares for patients ages 6 and older. He provides family medicine services including acute and chronic disease management, annual physicals, flu shots and immunizations, men’s and women’s health, preventive care and sick and well visits. Aaron has practiced for 11 years, and his approach is to serve as an advocate, resource and teammate, helping patients feel supported as they work toward their health goals. Aaron earned a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan, and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, Michigan. Before joining AdventHealth, he cared for patients in family medicine, urgent and emergency care, hospitalist medicine and nursing education roles in Michigan, including Bronson Medical Group - Family Medicine in Kalamazoo and Wattles Park Family Practice in Battle Creek.

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys gardening, biking and spending time outdoors.

Aaron works collaboratively with patients and a multidisciplinary team to support treatment goals with care and compassion. He aims to be an advocate, resource and teammate for patients and their families as they make decisions about their health.
