Building Whole Health in Our Kentucky Home
At AdventHealth Manchester, we take our mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ beyond the walls of our building.
Our community benefit programs aim to meet the needs of the greater area by caring for our neighbors’ physical, mental, social and spiritual health. We want our presence as health care providers to bring wellness to those around us through initiatives that help our neighbors feel whole in body, mind and spirit.
We’re committed to growing deep roots into the place we all call home.
The Power of a Nationwide Network Combined With a Local Focus
-
Community Programs
Our community health programs are driven by our desire to extend whole-person healing outside our buildings. Because caring for our patients' whole health in body, mind and spirit impacts the communities around them, we desire to shape the areas we serve with care to embrace the whole community.
-
Community Health Needs Assessments and Plans
Every three years, we conduct a community health needs assessment (CHNA) to determine how we can help improve the lives of people who live near our hospital. This assessment guides our plans and programming.

Our Community Plan for Community Care
Our three-year strategic Community Health Plan is focused on addressing four key priorities to enhance the well-being of our community. First, we’re committed to tackling cardiovascular disease by promoting heart-healthy lifestyles and education. Improving transportation is another critical area, ensuring that all community members have reliable access to health care, such as primary care, specialty medicine, lab services, and sports medicine and rehab care.
Mental health is also a top priority, with initiatives to increase awareness, reduce stigma and provide comprehensive support services.
Lastly, we emphasize preventive care and screenings to detect and address health issues early, ultimately leading to better health outcomes for everyone.
Together, these priorities form the foundation of our efforts to create a healthier, more vibrant community.
