Clinical Pastoral Education in Colorado
Housed in our AdventHealth Porter hospital, the Denver-based Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program offers CPE across the Rocky Mountain Region, with clinical placements at AdventHealth Avista, AdventHealth Castle Rock, AdventHealth Littleton, AdventHealth Parker and AdventHealth Porter hospitals.
The CPE program focuses on the development of student chaplains as healthy and whole individuals, in alignment with AdventHealth's philosophy of whole-person care. The program prioritizes sustainability, interpersonal care and creating a vessel of unconditional positive regard. Inclusivity and awareness of the changing landscape of clinical chaplaincy are some of the program’s special focus points. Students are encouraged to trust their own insights and wisdom, supported to make free choices and feel empowered wherever they land in their careers.
