Kathryn Berryman, MD

Kathryn Berryman, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN specializing in maternal-fetal medicine, high-risk pregnancies and obesity medicine. She cherishes her time helping women throughout the Orlando area navigate the challenges of pregnancy. Women's health is a central focus of Dr. Berryman's call to medicine, and she loves to connect with her patients. By staying by her patients' side throughout their journey, she regularly offers knowledgeable and compassionate care.

A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore, Dr. Berryman completed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH. She continued her educational travels serving in the military as a maternal-fetal medicine physician at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. During her service with the Army Medical Corps, Dr. Berryman deployed to Iraq and Senegal, earned three Army Commendation Medals and achieved the rank of lieutenant colonel.

Dr. Berryman embraces a whole-person care philosophy when out of the office too. She stays true to her military discipline by starting her day at 5 am with a high-intensity interval training class (HIIT). She takes mental breaks from work by sampling the food in local restaurants and never missing a Taco Tuesday with family and friends. During her time in Florida, Dr. Berryman's caring spirit has extended to fostering rescue dogs.

Dr. Berryman honors a woman's journey through every stage of her pregnancy. She knows it is a special and magical time for a woman but pregnancy has its ups and downs. Caring for the whole person - body, mind and spirit - nourishes her patients' overall well being. And providing gentle guidance and reassurance to help women get safely through a difficult pregnancy is the most rewarding job she could imagine.
