Head and Neck Surgery Fellowship Program at AdventHealth Celebration

Welcome from the Program Director

Welcome to central Florida! Our Head and Neck Surgery fellowship program began at the Celebration campus in Kissimmee, Florida, and has expanded to three additional campuses that serve 7 counties and approximately 4.4 million people. The oncology team consists of nine surgeons supported by neurosurgery, neurotology, audiology, speech language pathology, head and neck pathology, medical and radiation oncology, community oral surgery and prosthodontics. As a whole, the Advent Health Otolaryngology program, which also includes neurotology surgery, is nationally ranked 11ᵗʰ by the US news and World Report in 2025. It is currently the highest volume head and neck program in the state.

Our fellows are quickly integrated into the department as important contributors to patient care and outcomes. Our fundamental objective is to produce excellent and comprehensive head and neck surgeons with the opportunity to develop an academic focus. The curriculum is centered around comprehensive ablative surgery, salvage surgery, complex microvascular reconstructive surgery, endocrine surgery, advanced cutaneous malignancy surgery and with a unique focus on transoral robotic surgery. This intensive training provides fellows the opportunity to independently function in a high-volume center and to provide care for a wide range of pathology and disease presentations. The future success of our fellows is of highest priority and that is reflected in our program structure and by our faculty dedication.
