Platelet Donor Eligibility Requirements • Be in good general health and feeling well • Be at least 17 years old • If under 17 years old, have parental consent • Weigh at least 50 Kg (110 pounds) • Have not taken any medication containing aspirin within 48 hours of donation. (Please consult with your physician before halting any prescribed medication) • If this is the first time you have donated with AdventHealth and have been pregnant in the past, please register for whole blood to qualify for platelet donation • Able to pass the physical and health history assessments.
